Cass Bird's warm, intrepid depiction of her subjects provides new insight into the gritty exuberance of contemporary love and life.  Her unforgettable vision has garnered the artist great acclaim.  Following her initial success in the A&C "Festival for the Emerging Artists" (NY), Bird's solo exhibition of her series "Utopia" at Deitch Projects (NY) proves a sensation.  Most recently her work has been shown at Macro Future (Museo d'Arte Contemporanea di Roma), "New York Minute" as well as Palazzo Cavour in Turin, Italy and two major consecutive shows of at The Brooklyn Museum, which has acquired Bird's work for its permanent collection.  Bird's work is featured regularly in The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Details Magazine, New York, and Rolling Stone, ID, Dazed and Confused, Monopol, as well as for clients such as Nike, Converse, Sony, Levis and Sophomore.
