Charlotte Hoyle
Charlotte is a freelance illustrator based in Surrey, England. A fashion design and fashion promotion graduate with a diploma in fine art Charlotte Hoyle has developed a style of illustration that blends both hand drawn and digital mediums.
Due to her study Charlotte understands the construction of garments which helps her create fashion illustrations that accurately portray the garments, whereas her fine art study allowed her to develop and refine her drawing skills. Working with graphite, her sketches and designs are then transformed through using ink, watercolour or digital mediums. Inspired by fashion, photography, art and culture, Charlotte has developed a love of drawing portraiture and fashion illustrations.
Charlotte has created work for several companies and designers such as Rokit London, Flik Hall, Robb Young and Ada & Darcy. Her work has also been featured in publications such as Vogue.com, The Huffington Post, Amelia's Magazine and The Big Book of Contemporary Illustration.
