In need of a city escape.
A loaded car, the highway north, towns with strange names, too many people wearing odd coloured fleeces.
The trees doing their best northern hemisphere attempt at a change of colour.
Dirt roads and an ill suited vehicle.
Fresh water streams, trees dripping with moss and stag horns.
A tent, a roaring fire and a pot roast.
Too long between trips away.
