David Shrigley studied art at the Leicester Polytechnic college of Art and Design before going on to study at the Glasgow School of Art. He now lives and works in Glasgow and has exhibited widely across Europe and North America. He is best known for his witty, comic like drawings which have featured in newspapers and magazines, from the U.K's The Guardian to Esquire in Japan. He has also produced animated pop promotional video's for U.K groups Blur and Bonnie Prince Billy. Shrigley is the author of a number of books and is represented by the Stephen Friedman Gallery, London.
