Although designer Gretchen Jones now calls Brooklyn home, she has never lost touch with her rural, western roots: her designs are infused with an earthy Americana and a lingering 1970's romanticism. Gretchen's aesthetic is informed by everything from her ever-expanding record collection to the landscapes of her childhood home in Colorado and, later, Oregon. Gretchen strives to create pieces that are sophisticated, modern, and luxurious, while retaining a focus on social and environmental consciousness. Throughout all her designs she works to maintain a connection with the rustic and artisanal, preferring to work primarily with natural materials.
