Jordan Askill

Jordan Askill

Australian-born jewelry designer Jordan Askill has spent the last few years steadily building a well-honed, timeless aesthetic.
Jordan's fashion beginnings at East Sydney TAFE saw him win a number of prestigious awards including the 1st Prize, Paris Opera, Grand Marnier Design Award for Fashion Excellence. He developed his own ready-to-wear label in 2002, a line of georgette dresses, whilst working in his hometown of Sydney before relocating to Paris where he spent three years at a luxury house.
In the last year, Jordan has researched and developed his high concept yet beautifully wearable jewelry collection. Taking references from the nostalgia of youth, fine artisan craft of the past and the natural world around us, elements are united to reveal "The Boy, The Bird and The Rose" - a collection that is honest, modern and completely new.
Jordan has simultaneously produced an additional line of simple but delicate heart bracelets and rings, under the title of "Jordy". The heart collection is currently available globally, at The Corner Shop (Sydney) and Liberty (London).
Further to the creation of jewelry and sculpture, Jordan Askill also works alongside his brothers, directors Daniel and Lorin Askill, art directing and styling short films, video installations and music videos.  He is currently living between Sydney, Paris and New York.
