Kvast

The kvast designstudio was founded 2007 in Berlin by textile designer Verena Kern and product designer Britta Knüppel. After various job related stops in places like the Netherlands, Paris, Melbourne, London and Milan, they started their own studio in Berlin.

The kvast collections surprise with their curious view on habits and characteristics. Working with unusual materials, combinations and connections, already existing objects come to new life. Ordinary and banal things become precious and special.With great attention to detail, the collections are handmade by the two designers in their studio in Berlin and some are produced by small manufacturers in Germany. Only best materials are used, which guarantee long lasting quality and comfort.
