Little Shilpa

Shilpa Chavan has been working as a fashion stylist for magazines, music channels, ad campaigns as well as films.
Under her own label 'littleshilpa', she has been designing and handcrafting accessories thus scaling down her installations into wearable pieces for runway shows, editorial or fashion shoots as well as ad campaigns. She has collaborated with designers like Manish Arora, Tarun Tahiliani, Sabyasachi Mujherjee, Hemant Trevedi, Wendel Rodricks, Malini Ramani, varun bahl etc in India, as well as British labels Boudicca ,Unconditional  and Javier Salvador at London fashion week.
She also works as an installation artist crafting pieces that take a local/ vintage thought as well as raw material. These art installation works have been exhibited in France, London, Barcelona and India. Her inspiration comes from all that they call street, and styling helps to manifest that image in a more realistic and edited form. Her head pieces are like a canvas as they personify an aspect of her visual influence from observation to execution.
Presently shilpa works out of Mumbai (India) designing and handcrafting one-off pieces for retail and runway shows.
She has a penchant for creating more out of things ..
But then, styling is an insatiable urge ..
