Matthew the horse is an illustrator, poet, educator and idiot. He likes to draw. He likes other people. He teaches in an art school. He has just bought a new bike. He is from the country side. He is frustrated by cynicism.
Matthew works with calligraphic pens, water colours, a mac and his hands. He is interested in language, the human condition and messing about. He contributes regularly to The Guardian, as well as working for clients including Converse and The Economist. Matthew has recently launched a range of hippy T-shirts in collaboration with some of his artistic buddies. He has exhibited at Nobrow Gallery, has been curated by Creative review and has just finished a children's colouring book for Anorak publishing. Matthew has collection of his of his terrible poetry published by Presents Joy. He will gladly tell you a poem, if you like idiots.
