Niky is a german/japanese illustrator from Tokyo who is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.
Niky likes 'hands', which are a recurring motif in her work.
Especially in this current digital world, where there are so many new ways to communicate, Niky thinks that hands are very honest and remain a powerful and honest way to communicate that can be understood on a global level.
She has created illustrations for magazines such as Jalouse, Tokion, commons&sense, clothing brands such as John Lawrence Sullivan, Insight, Urban Outfitters amongst others.
Niky's animation has also just won the 1st Prize 'Best of Show 2011' at the 'Digital Graffiti' film festival.
