Owen Davey is a Freelance Illustrator & Designer. He was born near Brighton, studied in Cornwall & now lives & works in Bristol. He works in a mixture of traditional & digital media, utilising a distinctive combination of textures & limited colour palettes. His work has been described as nostalgic & retro with modern sensibilities. Owen has been regularly commissioned by Orange, The Guardian, BBC, New York Times & End of the Road Festival. Templar Publishing published Owen's debut picture book (Foxly's Feast) in 2010. It was Highly Commended by the Macmillan Children's Book Prize and was the winner of Junior Magazine's 'Most Promising Talent' Award. His second book was published this September & he is currently working on his third.
