I'm showing work at HotShoe Gallery in London. It's a group show in collaboration with Architecture For Humanity aimed at raising funds for the long term reconstruction of the tsunami devastated North East region of Japan. The show runs from the 2-6 August and an auction will take place on Friday, 5 August. All sales proceeds go straight into the fundraiser. All works were donated by the artists. My photography students are having their end of semester show this Friday in Sydney. While editing their work yesterday, I was blown away by the quality of it. UTS managed to put a great series of lectures together for their Bachelor of Design in Photography and Situated Media. The speakers come from different backgrounds and work in distinctive ways which makes these talks something to look forward to week after week. I visited my friend Jorge at his new Sydney studio. We grew up together in Madeira Island, surfing, having fun and not having a single worry in the world.
As much as i would like to relive those days, i think life's been treating us pretty well in the southern seas.
Lately he's been working on new paintings and drawings to be unveiled early next year. I'm really looking forward to that!

Introduction
Emerging Sydney based photographer Pedro Ramos gathered his good friend Max and model Ashlee Anne to shoot the just landed Won Hundred collection from Denmark. For this exclusive A & E Projects shoot Pedro chose an inner city oasis in East Sydney for it's natural appeal: “I like places that appear to be untouched by man. When i'm walking around the city I feel a certain numbness towards my surroundings. At places like this it seems like I wake up”. Apparently there was a well earned big breakfast afterwards too.
