Royal Glamsters
Royal Glamsters (born Pascal Cuttoli) is a French artist and illustrator based in Paris. Descended from an artists family, he has begun by painting and drawing very young. After studies in Economy and History of Art (School Of Louvre), he came back in creation with Interior Design.
Since 2008 he is working as painter and illustrator for different fields (fashion, decoration, boards & toys industry, publishing, accessories...) and exhibits around the world.
He defines himself as a Sub-Pop artist. A desire to remain as part of a popular art, modest, accessible to as many people but also by reference to that which nourishes his art formally : Subculture, Underground, Music or Comic Strip .
His artistic world seems a world of "infantization" where characters and creatures become, with their expressions and gestures, an "ideogrammatic" language mixing humor, imaginary and provocation. Always with the desire to leave the last word to the "viewer" : the freedom to interpret what he sees.
