last week i made a small trip to Barcelona to visit some friends.

Visual Diares/Girls is an exhibition curated by Florencia Serrot which will be opening on the 6th may in Munich. i am having some photos there, along with other amazing female photograhers, and i decided to release a newspaper with those photos. check the stephanie bender gallery website for more info on the exhibition.

Sleep City released a 12page newspaper (limited to 50 copies) called So I Can Always Remember Where Home Is / So Where I Can Always Remember Where Home Was. it has photos of NYC taken in 2010 by me, João Amorim and Ricardo Dias.

Nadja - a swiss photographer i met last year in nyc - and I started a project called Lisboa Zuerich where photos are uploaded daily.

this way we can keep in touch, get to know each other better and document our lives in two different cities.

each month we have a theme, March is self portrait.

my best buddy Bráulio is moving to nyc so we made him a surprise party which was insane and reminded me how awesome my friends are and also taught me why you shouldn t be allowed crowd-surfing past 25. i also shot a campaign for nike last month which was fun.

December was a really nice month for me, with amazing shows - i took some pictures for Vice - and a new job at Vogue Art Department!!
this year i decided to make an actual new year s resolution list and according to it i will be publishing some books/fanzines/journals in the next twelve months. i will also eat more fruit.

- the new No Good Reason 7" is out and i am really proud to have my photos in the cover+insert.
- on the last Room Service of the year i shot my own bedroom! it was really fun. and because we've been so so busy we decided to make it a monthly project in 2011, instead of weekly, which hopefully will allow us to dedicate more time to each one of our "guests". So, starting from now you ll be able to see it only on the last Wednesday of each month at Vogue's blog.
next weekend i ll be in Barcelona where i ll take some photos for Room Service and eat at Juicy Jones, the best restaurant ever.
and at the end of the month a quick trip to Madrid. i hope i can take some time to take photos and document my trips in small books like i did last year when i went ot nyc. self publishing! yes!
