Sea

Sea

Sea began as a surfboard and clothing side project in 1999 for Dain Thomas and his mate Matt Yeates. Dain was shaping Sea Surfboards at night, out of the McTavish factory, where he was working as a production shaper during the day. Two years later artist Paul McNeil joined Sea and the label quickly gathered momentum and international acclaim as a revered art / surfing collective,  almost as passionate about art and music as making and riding some of the most covetable boards on the planet.

Champion Artist and SEA-Man Niccy Chalmers recently surfed across the Tasman to New Zealand (hello Derek Henderson!)  and posed with every Kiwi and their cousin......  He's safely home now and culturally vacuum sealed on the Gold Coast
