For my portrait of Sir Peter Cook I wanted to play on the idea that the man is a living legend, though I wanted to do this with a humorous twist.
To create a portrait of someone who has achieved so much, is almost to create a shrine to that person and by making Sir Peter's portrait a monument to him, plays with this notion.
I tried several variations of the image but found the most simple design to be the most effective.
