"I am always looking for a certain reinvention of basic garments of our wardrobe. For the piece "MHOOD" I wanted to create a piece of accessories that would recreate sleeves/ scarf/ hood and could be worn in different ways: with the sleeves on or wrapped around the neck; the hood on, or not, etc... It is derived from a classic piece of my collections the "sleeved scarf". MHOOD is knitted in one piece and its shape is crafted as it is made, in a sculptural way, to create the volumes for the shoulders and the head. Two shades of greys are knitted so that it will make an uneven stripping. These technical constructions are only possible thanks to a French small atelier - factory that masters the making of luxury knitwear. The choice of cashmere was the final touch to make sure this piece would become one's favorite." Xavier Brisoux
